SAM - Systematic Abuse of Males
Male domestic violence and abuse can, and does happen anywhere: It could be in your home, in your street, in your town or in your city. Chances are that it may well be happening to you or to someone you know. In the United Kingdom alone, in any random group of twelve males, at least four will have encountered domestic abuse. That's hard fact ascertained from abused males, and not as a result of any government propaganda or sponsored survey.

Welcome to the website of SAM (Systematic Abuse of Males).
Offering a United Kingdom wide service, SAM has successfully worked with male victims of domestic violence or domestic abuse, those who commit such abuse, and associated families, for over three decades. We provide: advisory counselling, guidance and support services across the entire spectrum. If you are a male suffering domestic violence or abuse, an abuser, or simply a service provider wishing to make referrals to SAM, then please visit the What we do page of this site for further information.
Statistics are often cited as a guide to issues relating to crime and in particular domestic abuse, however, all the statistics in the world could never depict the impact and emotional turmoil that domestic violence and abuse causes to all concerned.
For many years SAM has delivered the highest quality service standards possible, listening to, and understanding clients needs, and working towards resolutions and positive outcomes. It is a wholly confidential service.
In addition to working with abused males, uniquely, we work very closely with male and female abusers and accept self referrals for assistance, support and counselling services.
